In the middle of a video chat on August 4th, 2021 with the thirty-one Tibetan children, they excitedly mentioned that they were learning a bit of English at their new school in the city, below the mountains.  I was pleasantly surprised at this piece of information...afterall, the fact that they were excelling at both Mandarin and English in their first year of actual schooling was a lot for me to absorb.  Out of nowhere, the Tibetan children eagerly asked me if I could give them some English names, and I immediately agreed to do so.  That evening, I compiled a list of all their Mandarin names (which were based on their Tibetan names), and started to conjure English names while confirming that the children were fond of the names.  I made sure that their new English names would not only closely resemble their Mandarin names in sound, but also would embody their individual personalities.  The following is a list of each of the Tibetan children with the English names that I suggested and they ultimately picked for themselves:
